Re: Welcome Amsn2

I always wondered why amsn would use such a horrible and just plain disgusting toolkit as Tk. I hate it when I need to use amsn just to use webcam, since Pidgin doesn't support it. Seriously, I was actually planning on removing my eyes from my eye-sockets with a spoon the other day. God, it's ugly! And just a bad experience to use, since it doesn't fit with any environment (not just visually, but otherwise as well).

Relax Christoffer Brodd-Reijer, one of the features of aMSN2 is that the "emesene" team (http://emesene.org/) are doing aMSN gui using gtk, then there's also a team doing it with QT. I really like emesene (though I haven't gotten it to actually *work* after I upgraded to F9), so them doing aMSN gui would be awesome. The bad part is that imo, its a lot of 'wasted' talent, and we'll have 4 different guis that will run the same backend, and I'm sure we'll start seeing some guis with more features than others...
